Your Questions, Answered

Thoughtfully designed paper deserves thoughtful answers. Below you’ll find guidance on process, timelines, printing methods, and everything in between. If you don’t see your question here, I’m always happy to connect directly.

  • Semi-custom suites are professionally designed collections that are personalized with your details, color adjustments, and select upgrades. They offer a refined, cohesive look with a streamlined process.

Bespoke design is fully custom from the ground up. Every detail — layout, typography, print method, embellishments, and finishing — is created uniquely for your event. This option is ideal for couples seeking a completely one-of-a-kind suite.

    • Semi-custom suites: typically 3–8 weeks

    • Bespoke custom suites: 6–10+ weeks depending on complexity

    • Specialty printing and upgrades may extend timelines slightly

Your timeline will always be clearly outlined before we begin.

  • Semi-custom designs include two proof rounds to refine wording and color adjustments.

Bespoke design includes four proof rounds as we refine your suite together.

Additional rounds beyond the outlined scope may incur a fee — but clarity is always communicated upfront.

  • Most suites require a minimum of 25 pieces, though this may vary depending on the print method and production partner requirements.

  • For Save the Dates, I recommend mailing them about 6 months before your wedding (earlier for destination celebrations). Because production typically takes 3–8 weeks, couples should begin the design process approximately 8–10 months before the wedding date to allow for proofing, printing, and delivery.

For wedding invitations, I recommend mailing them 3–4 months before your wedding. With production timelines ranging from 6–10+ weeks, depending on print method and complexity, it’s best to begin the process 6–7 months before your wedding date.

Starting early ensures a relaxed, thoughtful design experience — without rush fees or unnecessary stress.

  • Digital Printing
Crisp, versatile, and refined. Ideal for layered suites and color-forward designs.

    Foil Printing
Metallic shine pressed onto the paper for luminous, elevated detail.

    Letterpress
Ink is pressed into paper, creating a tactile, heirloom impression.

Each method offers a distinct aesthetic — and they can often be combined for dimension.

  • Postage is determined by:

    • Weight of the fully assembled suite

    • Thickness

    • Presence of wax seals or rigid embellishments

    • Square or non-standard sizing

I weigh a fully assembled sample and calculate exact USPS requirements to prevent returned mail.

  • With the purchase of the full-service mailing upgrade, invitations can be delivered directly to USPS on your behalf.
